Frida KahLOL is a fun and friendly comedy night showcasing the girls, the gays and the theys in the fun and friendly female run independent cocktail bar Doña on Stoke Newington High Street. Come swathe yourself in Doña's plush pink surroundings, sip a signature mezcal cocktail and let yourself be entertained. The line ups are made up of sparkly up-and-coming talent mixed with established stars, served on ice with salt and lime. Each gig has a 5 minute debutante slot for a new performer who wants to try comedy in supportive (and beautifully decorated) surroundings rather than the traditionally more macho (and less glamorous) open mic circuit.
The next shot is on the 3rd of May hosted by the multi-talented sketch duo Roisin & Chiara, with Welsh glamazon Eleri Morgan, Scottish character comedian Charlie V Martin and Texan retired cheerleader Kemah Bob and more! PLUS AN EXTRA SPECIAL MUSICAL PERFORMANCE BY MS.RAY! Come laugh, come drink, come boogie.
Tickets are £6.50-£11 which is a bargain since "Nothing is worth more than laughing" - Frida Kahlo(l). Doors at 6pm, Show time at 8pm.
Access info: Doña is in a pink basement down 13 steps with a banister. The bar is all on one level and has two medium sized unisex toilet cubicles also on the same level. If you require a free companion ticket please get in touch.

3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
