- Barge House
The exhibition is an exploration by six artists of the Regent’s Canal – all of whom are closely involved with the Living Waterway project. Some works are inspired by Nature which has found a home along the waterway while others are concerned with pollution floating in and spoiling this home.
These artists celebrate the Nature supported by the canal and confronts the rubbish The Wildlife Garderners of Haggerston pick out.

About The Wildlife Gardeners of Haggerston
The Wildlife Gardeners of Haggerston have been cleaning and greening the Regent’s Canal for two years as part of their Living Waterway project. Last year, during National Park City event week we held narrow boat rides where we presented our vision of the Regent’s Canal.
To realise this vision, we are litter picking along the towpath and in the water. We haul the odd bike out too. The greening has many forms including allowing the towpath vegetation to grow a little wilder and planting new hedging. In the water new artificial banks have been created and planted and we have been installing floating, planted islands which provide both habitat and clean the water.
