What they say:
Riberia is a hidden sanctuary, nestled in London's East End. This bistro, bar and event space is almost touching distance from Regent's Canal and delivers an eclectic blend of Latin American cuisine and culture, with the bohemian lifestyle of East London. They are open for breakfast lunch and dinner - serving classic English dishes, alongside South American tapas and sharing platters. Smoothies and coffees in the day are replaced by cocktails and live music in the evening, and there is a great private function room that can accomodate live music shows, film screenings and private dinners.
What we say:
If you could judge a book by its cover, Ribeira would be amongst the best places in East London, for any occasion. When you look a little closer, you know it will earn this accolade in its own right. Ribeira sits on a breathtakingly calm and relaxed site that resembles an opening scene from a Richard Curtis movie, and serves almost everything East London has fallen for. You can enjoy cocktails, smoothies, pastries, coffees, tapas, cocktails, sharing platters (I'll let you catch your breath) and Argentinian steak. It seems they have left no stone unturned... so I'll see you there.
