Description
Barnyard is an enticing restaurant and bar in Fitzrovia, close to both Goodge Street and Tottenham Court Road underground stations. This agriculturally-inspired eatery is the sister venue of Oskar's Bar at Dabbous, with acclaimed restauranteurs Oskar Kinberg and Ollie Dabous at the helm.
The nod to agricultural produce isn't exclusively reserved to the name; the venue comes kitted out with reclaimed timber and corrugated tin featuring prominently, and there's a playlist of charming indie folk, country and blues tunes to enjoy while you dine. Barnyard's menu is made up of wholesome classics at really reasonable prices - the homemade sausage roll with piccalilli and roast bubble & squeak with black pudding stand out as particular crowd pleasers and there's a choice of taste bud tantalisers on the dessert front too.
Drinks are simple but delightful, with a range of milkshakes (virgin or alcoholic), beers, shandies and wines combining neatly with the cuisine for a well-rounded dining experience. Barnyard is a fine Fitzrovia establishment that offers a refreshing take on indulgent homemade produce and interesting drinks.
