Ready to start your journey from wine enthusiast to total wine pro? Welcome to Vagabond's Wine Academy, where we offer internationally recognized WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 1 and Level 2 certification courses. Whether you're a curious beginner or aspiring wine professional, join us as we do wine learning, the Vagabond way. All Courses Include: Expert tuition • WSET study materials • Exam fees • Vagabond Tasting Card • Access to 100+ wines by the glass

Let’s keep things simple and clear—just like a great glass of wine. Below are the essential details you need to know before booking your course with us.

1) Who Can Join?
- All course participants must be 18 or over (because, well, it’s wine). By making a booking, you’re agreeing to play by these T&Cs.

2) Booking Your Spot
- Full payment is required at the time of booking—no ‘pencil me in’ options, sorry!
- Your place is locked in only once payment has been received and you get a confirmation email from us.

3) Cancelling Your Booking
- Plans changed? No worries! You can cancel up to 12 working days before your course starts.
- If you cancel, we’ll refund your course fee, minus a £25 admin fee and the cost of any study materials already provided.

4) What If We Need to Cancel?
- Sometimes, things don’t go to plan. If we need to reschedule or cancel a course, including if enrolments don’t reach the required minimum numbers, we’ll let you know at least 12 working days before the start date.
- You’ll have the option to move to another date or get a full refund (minus the study pack cost if it’s already been sent out).

5) Need to Transfer to Another Course?
- You can switch to another course (within the same academic year, which runs from 1 August onwards) up to 12 working days before your course starts.
- There’s a £25 admin fee, plus any extra costs for study materials.
- All transfers are subject to availability—we’ll do our best, but no guarantees!

6) No-Shows
- If you don’t turn up, we can’t offer refunds, credits, or transfers—just like an unopened bottle of wine left behind at a party, it’s a shame, but there’s not much we can do.

7) Exam Transfers
- Your exam date is tied to the course you booked. If you need to switch dates, there’s a £25 admin fee.
- Transfer requests must be made at least 12 working days before the original exam date. Email us at academy@vagabondwines.com to arrange.
- If you request a transfer within 12 working days, you’ll also need to cover the cost of the exam paper, which we’ve already ordered from the WSET awarding body.
- As with courses, exam transfers depend on availability.

8) Course Materials – Getting Your Hands on the Good Stuff
- For In-Person Courses:
- You’ll get your study materials on the first day of your course—so no need to bring anything except your enthusiasm.

9) Our Policies – Keeping Things Fair & Inclusive
We’re committed to making our courses welcoming, inclusive, and top-quality. Your feedback helps us improve, and we’ve worked closely with the WSET awarding body to develop policies that support all our students.

- Zero Tolerance for Bad Vibes
- We love a good conversation about wine, but rudeness, aggression, or disrespect toward our team isn’t on the menu and will not be tolerated. Inappropriate behaviour—whether verbal, physical, or just generally unpleasant—will be treated as misconduct. This could mean being permanently excluded from WSET qualifications.

- Pets & Service Animals
- We love furry friends, but pets aren’t allowed at Wine Academy sessions unless you have prior written consent. Service animals and approved support animals for individuals with disabilities are welcome. If you have any questions, email academy@vagabondwines.co.uk.

Got Questions?
- We’re here to help! If anything’s unclear, just drop us an email at academy@vagabondwines.co.uk.

See you soon—glass in hand and ready to learn!
