Pond is here to shake London's perceptions of New Hawaiian food off their hinges. Coming to us courtesy of Byron Knight (Off Broadway, Beavertown Brewery and Duke’s Brew and Que), this authentic restaurant and cocktail bar can be found in a warehouse off a private lane in Dalston.
The venue is the capital's first eatery dedicated to New Hawaiian cuisine, and it fuses local traditions and ingredients with cutting-edge European cooking techniques for mouth-watering results. Head Chef Byron Knight leads a culinary team that whips up treats like Loco Moco (deconstructed with beef tartar and rice crisps) or Poke (diced raw fish) as well as treats from Hawaii’s Central Pacific neighbours across its range of small, medium and big plates.
Dinner comes in the company of elegant tropical cocktails; the idea is to challenge clichéd Tiki drinks in favour of bringing East London a brand new blend of exotic beverages. A fresh concept offering the palatte something different, Pond is about bringing us the tastes, flavours and traditions of Hawaii from the comfort of Dalston.
