What they say:
A cocktail bar run by spirit lovers, for sprit lovers, the East London Liquor Company concentrates on reviving the East End's prestigious legacy of spirit manufacturing. Owners Alex Wolpert and Jamie Baxter look to the enormous resurgence in the craft spirit trade in the USA and forecast a similar story to come to these shores. Their cocktail bar - complete with a huge glass wall to observe the distillation process, tours of the venue and make-your-own batch sessions - wants to deliver an authentic all-round experience to the good people of East London.
What we say:
The East London Liquor Company concept is a tremendously exciting prospect for revellers from all over the capital. The venue's prestigious status as the first distillery to produce gin, whisky and vodka in the East End for over a century rightly rouses a stirring interest from spirit enthusiasts all over. The folks behind the ELLC concept have clearly gone to great measures to make this an all-round package determined to impress. With esteemed mixologist Piyush Chavda whipping up an array of tasty concoctions as well, this Victoria Park-based retreat is a valuable asset to the East London scene.
