Hackney Coffee Company

With exposed brick walls, leafy green foliage, and prints from local artists, Hackeny Coffee Company is an East London venue that combines history with simple style. In the same family for more than 60 years, the building has seen life as a working brewery and car garage, before being transformed into a cafe and event space.

The three founders all have roots in the East End, with family ties that go back to their grandparents. Combining knowledge of the local area with world travels, including to Colombia, they have created an atmospheric space that stocks excellently sourced and Fairtrade coffee - expect out of this world espresso martinis. 

Adaptable for everything from supper clubs to product launches, the venue offers minimalist style, with skylights flooding the room with light, and exposed hanging bulbs. Plants also feature heavily, as fern-filled baskets are suspended from the ceiling and shrubs stand-out against black metal grids.
