What they say:
Oslo is a day-to-night cafe bar and music venue in the heart of East London. The two-storey bar is located in the old Station Building in Hackney Central and provides locals with daily doses of fantastic food, premium craft beers, ales and spirits and incredible live music. The new Hackney bar is the brainchild of promoters/festival-throwers/venue owners DHP Family, who already put on over 1200 gigs a year. Eager to set up their first London base in the East, they reckon this cool new bar with fill the gap for a food and live music concept in Hackney.
What we say:
With a cool "Dark Nordic" theme, Oslo draws on its owners' Norwegian roots. The restaurant bar and venue will open late throughout the week, dishing up tasty grub by day, and thrashing live music by night. As the folks behind acclaimed venues and festivals around the UK, this London offshoot from the DHP Family, is set to bring international acts to the East End. Expect a weird and wonderful bar, in a stunning 140-year-old building, among all the bustle of Mare Street, filled with quirky touches, craft beer and cool tunes.
