Description
The Convenience is a cafe, bar and canteen set in the refurbished public toilets that had previously been abandoned for over 20 years. The utility style space has a traditional East London vibe and is made for hanging out all day and all night. As well as an indoor space and street side seating there is a lovely roof terrace perfect for alfresco drinking when the weather is nice. Everything is stocked by local suppliers and it has a real neighbourhood feel.
During the day NANA will be running a comfort food cafe in the kitchen, serving up all your favourites. The cafe is perfect for taking a break from work or just relaxing in any day of the week. At night it becomes more of a lively, local bar with the drinks supplied by The Convenience's own bar and the food provided by a special pop-up chef running the kitchen. For three months at a time a new chef or small business will take over the kitchen in the evenings. The Convenience takes the local bar concept to the next level with the best all day and all night hangout in Hackney.
