What they say:
Bobby Fitzpatrick is an eccentric new cocktail-cum-pizza place found in West Hampstead. The venue is decked in 70s apparel, from custom wallpaper, furniture and lighting to autographed photographs dotted around of random celebrities like Kate Bush and Leo Sayer. There’s even board games from way-back-when, including Happy Days, alongside a whole selection of 70s memorabilia. Bobby Fitzpatrick also offers an American-focused food menu and creative, rum-based cocktails.
What we say:
Bobby Fitzpatrick is trying to encapsulate the quirky energy of the American 1970s in one cocktail bar and, by looking at what it's offering, they just might do it. Next to its eccentric interiors, the venue offers a playful cocktail menu of rum-based concoctions. These include the wonderfully named ‘Alison Mahoney’, named after the fictional titular character’s high school prom date, or the vodka and cherry cola reduction cocktail named ‘Sanford University’. The food is also delivered with a wink and a nod with their deep crust American pizzas featuring toppings like chicken tikka and lamb doner. Or if that doesn’t quite tickle your fancy, there’s always a cheese infused burger with fried pickles - it seems weird and wonderful is the phrase to typify this place!
