What they say:
It was whilst travelling around the USA and experiencing the revival of the smokehouse that Sean Martin - one of the established restaurateurs behind the 160 Degrees Fahrenheit concept - had the idea of introducing something similar to London. With the brains behind Michelin-starred L'Autre Pied and Pied a Terre, David Moore in tow, the impressive duo are set to bring an authentic smokehouse experience to West Hampstead. They'll do this in part by slow-smoking British beef and pork via specially imported American smokers, and constructing a drinks cabinet that carries over 50 craft beers and a compelling cocktail list.
What we say:
Moore and Martin boast the kind of collective CV that makes everybody sit up and take notice. With years of delivering the highest quality under their belts, this exciting new smokehouse project certainly seems to tick all the boxes. The especially imported smoker adds something pretty special to the experience and in slow-cooking the meat for up to twelve hours, customers are all set to enjoy the sumptuously tender results. The catalogue of craft beers and sours-focused cocktail list is interesting too, meaning there's every reason to check this one out when it opens in March.
