What they say:
This tropical tiki bar is the brainchild of former Mahiki bar-manager Georgi Radev and his partners Sam Robson and Steve Kyprianou. Offering more than just a late-night party spot, the rum-mad venue also distills its own spiced rum in the upstairs room, as well as offering customers the opportunity to make their own spiced rum blends at bookable masterclasses.
What we say:
A slice of tropical sunshine in the heart of Islington, Laki Kane is a fun tiki bar fronting colourful rum cocktails and some theme-heavy decor - think rush roofs, hanging ropes and ladders, as well as a service button on every table. There's also a tasty small plates menu created by Savoy-trained chef Michael Moore, consisting of dishes designed to complement the cocktails, we recommend the steamed pork dumplings which are served in egg wonton with a side of the chef's extra special sauce.
