A family-run restaurant and wine shop in Highbury.
From Laura Christie (one half of Turkish spot Oklava) and her partner Chris Boustead (half of Boustead & Bidois) Linden Stores is serving small plates and fine wines. Taking over the spot formerly occupied by Prawn on the Lawn, the restaurant has a stripped back aesthetic with bare brick walls, simple wooden tables and a blackboard detailing specials.
The food menu has distinct British flavours with dishes such as a British cheese board, potted rabbit with clementine jelly and smoked beef stew with thyme dumplings. Wine is all selected by Christie and is affordable, as well as, available to take away by the bottle. Expect seasonal dishes like salted hake and wood pigeon to veggie-friendly plates.
