The Pig and Butcher in Islington is an exciting new gastro pub opening in London. It comes from the team behind the much lauded The Princess of Shoreditch and the recently opened The Lady Ottoline in Bloomsbury. With The Pig and Butcher they promise a very food driven concept with exciting produce at the heart, and true to the name they will source their meat from animals on site. The Pig and Butcher is one of few pubs in England to offer the Iron age pig on their menu, and a large selection of hand pulled ales as well as wines from boutique producers that have been sourced from across the world.

This new London pub excites us with its concept of serving rustic food and meat directly from the farm. With the meat dishes butchered on site and grilled over wood, it will be a unique eating experience and accompanied with one of the 20 craft bottled beers, a new watering hole to discover in London.
