What they say:
Having recently opened on a corner of Essex Road, The Seveney offers delicious food and great drinks in a truly gorgeous setting. Decked out with foliage and hanging plants, cool blue and vibrant turquoise and warm wood tones, it's an oasis amongst the bustle of Islington. Serving up weekday dinners alongside weekend brunches and Sunday roasts, you can find plenty of tasty European-inspired dishes, from dumplings and artichokes, to Cornish red mullet with caponata and pine nuts, and very enticing ham hock Croque Madame. On top of that there's a range of British and Belgian beers to be had, as well as botanical cocktails and a natural wine list.
What we say:
Fusing botanical interiors and tasty European-inspired fare, this bar and restaurant is one of the hot tips for summer drinking and dining. With large windows looking out over Essex Road, and an outside space opening soon, it's the perfect spot to grab a British or Belgian brew of a weekend and get to work sampling their tasty brunch menu, or diving mouth-first into a Sunday roast. Open until 1.30am on Fridays and Saturdays, you can get your fill of cocktails and dancing as they bring out cool DJs and botanical-infused concoctions.
