Sake & Rum, opening in late 2014, is a new stylish Japanese cuisine and rum bar, opening on Old Brompton Street in South Kensington. Guests can expect a stylish bar and restaurant serving Japanese bites and rum-based cocktails. Based on a traditional Japanese Izakaya, a kind of Japanese bar; the concept of Sake & Rum will be a relaxed venue where you can enjoy a drink and bite to eat with friends after work.

The rum half of Sake & Rum comes courtesy of the man behind Mahiki's success, Piers Adam, who has teamed up with former Nobu and Kurobuta London head chef Scott Hallsworth. Hallsworth's Japanese cuisine with a twist, has proven immensely popular at Kurobuta and a similar formula is surely to prove as successful in this latest venture; where as Mahiki's reputation as Mayfair's number one destination for celebrities, confirms its pedigree.
