Being the self-proclaimed Disney fanatic I am, the very thought of 'dig dig digging' my way through brunch made my inner child squeal with joy! Of course, I had to check this awesome brunch event out for myself and so after taking some time to brush up on my Disney knowledge - and lyrical finesse - I headed over to Drink, Shop & Do in Kings Cross.
There could be no better venue to host this event than Drink, Shop & Do; with all it’s creativity and whimsical decor. We entered into this cosy Tea Party and took our seats along the row of joined tables, with sparkly stars, helium balloons and tea cups full of sweets dotted around for all to enjoy. Our hosts for the event soon kicked into gear with their opening song 'Be Our Guest', whilst Prosecco glasses and Bloody Mary's were topped up (and continued to be throughout)... and then we noticed the DRESS UP RACK. It had everything from Aladdin's purple pants to Cinderella's dress and Princess Tiaras; and I happily fulfilled my life goal of being a Genie!
A creative and playful hangout in the heart of King's Cross, DSD was the perfect setting for this Disney brunch.
After tucking into a delicious selection of Smoked salmon, cream cheese & chrain, Avocado, jalapeno, coriander & lime-pickled onions and Ham hock, parsley & mustard mayo bagels, it was time to get creative with glitter, jewels and felt cut-out Mickey Mouse ears, I of course got a little too serious - there was no glitter going over my neat fabric-striped lines - while my fellow Princess on the other hand got a little carried away (as she does) and somehow created an explosion of glitter, glue and sequins for a good stretch of the table.

This is by no means a relaxing brunch; it's a fully immersive, let your hair down and your inner child run free type of event. So if you're up for a laugh, you love a good singalong and have a life-long love affair with all things Disney, get on down to Drink, Shop & Do and take your seat at a brunch party to remember!
