Need a new go-to for weeknight drinks or fancy some great food? Well, King's Cross' new opening Gas Station promises to not only deliver an epic drinks menu, but also a range of tasty seasonal eats. Taking over from Gin Works, the Mare Street Market team aims to spruce up this spot located just a stone's throw away from Goods Way. This fabulous indoor-outdoor venue has three bars set over two floors, and a stunning canalside beer garden designed by Kew Gardens’ horticulturist Richard Wilford.
Enjoy a wide range of drinks, from craft ales to bubbly and cocktails. If you're a fan of seafood then treat yourself to a dozen oysters freshly sourced from Maldon and Lindisfarne. Or if you fancy something indulgent, try their mouthwateringly gooey crayfish mac and cheese. Want a meaty bite to eat? You can sink your teeth into burgers and succulent chargrilled ribeye steak with garlic butter sauce, fries and watercress.
