Once a famous theatre where ballerinas performed before heading to an underground bar for Champagne-fuelled parties, The Alhambra Theatre is a lost gem in the heart of Leicester Square... well, not anymore. Taking over the original site, The Lost Alhambra is transforming the West End space as it recreates the debaucherous nights that gained such notoriety in the 1800s.
From Instagramable cocktails like the Pisco Inferno cocktail served in a disco ball to an alcohol-free take on a porn star martini, The Lost Alhambra has got all sorts of curious tipples to choose from. Soak it all up with lip-smacking burgers from Dip & Flip as the south London favourite heads north of the river, armed with gravy-soaked and cheese-topped buns.
Not only is there talk of a dancefloor on the ceiling (yep), but there's also space for 250 guests to party until 3am. Helmed by the same team who brought us Tonight Josephine and Blame Gloria, we're expecting big things from this central London spot.
