Old Bengal Bar, located in the Old Bengal Warehouse, will offer a comprehensive choice of both classic and signature cocktails. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy cocktails created by the bars head mixologist Milos Popovic in a space dominated by exposed brick work and mirrored walls, or on the Old Bengal Bars secluded terrace. Signature drinks like Black Velvet and the Courtney Love, alongside more familiar cocktails, will be served with a twist such as The Martinez and Toby Cecchinis Cosmopolitan. But the promised chic and atmospheric bar will also have a selection of spirits by the bottle and a wide and far-reaching wine list.
What we say:
The Old Bengal Bar is a part of the D&D renovation project of the Old Bengal Warehouse built in 1771 by the East India Company to store spices, tea, cigars and port. The site will consist of over 10,000 square feet for the New Street Grill restaurant, a Fish Market, the New Street Wine Shop and the Old Bengal Bar. City workers will have a huge new food and drink destination designed by Conran & Partners on their doorstep, and the idea of sipping one of the fabulous Milos Popovic’s cocktails in this impressive and fantastic space already make our mouths water!
