Aqua shard bar is located on the 31st floor of London Bridge's iconic skyscraper The Shard. From the same people who bought London aqua kyoto and aqua nueva restaurants, aqua shard covers the 31st floor offers a bar space with absolutely perfect views of the London skyline. The menu features British produce and combines the staple ingredients of British cooking with innovative techniques.
Spanning two wings, the 220-cover restaurant has been designed by London practice Jestico + Whiles to deliver a contemporary cosmopolitan interior with distinctly British touches. Gin and tea, both with strong roots in this part of London, have inspired the design. Liberty fabrics appear in subtle touches throughout the restaurant, complementing the dark oak floor. From sunrise to sunset, guests can enjoy the ever-changing views of the London skyline as well as the River Thames, stretching from the Houses of Parliament to St. Paul’s, Tower Bridge and the City to the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf.
Linking the two wings is the stunning atrium bar with three-storey high panoramic windows. The bar at aqua shard serves an extensive menu of classic and contemporary cocktails which change seasonally echoing the cuisine. Aqua shard’s signature cocktails include ‘High tea’ with Belvedere vodka, homemade raspberry curd, raspberry macaroon syrup, lemon and scone foam; ‘Bergamotto & cedro sour’ with Cîroc vodka, cedro liqueur, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto and lemon and ‘Elizabeth line’ with Belvedere vodka, lavender & violette syrup, lemon, elderflower tincture and egg white.
Aqua shard is one of London's finest skyline restaurants and the buzz surrounding it is palpable. We recommend it for drinks purely because of the spectacular views, it would also be a great place to entertain a client.
