Description
Boot and Flogger is a traditional wine bar in Southwark that has fine wines at reasonable prices. John Davy opened London's first real wine bar in 1964 and this venue has kept all its original charm. It is a genuine labyrinth of bars and dining rooms and has many different enchanting rooms all perfect for private hire events, functions and parties.
The venue has a traditional interior throughout, with wood panels and padded chairs. That being said, all the different rooms still have a unique feel; with light and airy spaces to some seductive spots reminiscent of a vintage Gentlemen's Club. The staff at Boot and Flogger have a good reputation with for being friendly, happy and helpful which all adds to the fantastic ambience of this smart London wine bar.
