If you haven’t heard; shuffleboard is making a comeback. The old school pastime has gone from geek to chic, with Electric Shuffle (from the team behind Flight Club) spearheading the London revival. After its hit opening in Canary Wharf, a second site is set to open in the arches of London Bridge Station on the 20th of August.
Electric Shuffle takes the game one step further, showcasing 10 shuffleboards reimagined with interactive screens that keep track of the game for you. We expect the new launch to reflect the beaut décor of its East London counterpart, which boasts slinky interiors, a centrepiece bar and a slight steampunk vibe.
When it comes to food, you can tuck into an eclectic menu of sharing plates, burgers, pizzas and more. As for drinks? There are craft and classic lagers, wines and a huge range of artisan spirits on offer. If it’s cocktails you’re after, the bartenders shake up a delicious selection of signatures, including the show-stopping ‘trophy of glory’, ideal for toasting your victory. This barmy concoction involves Ketel One Citroen vodka, Chambord, raspberry, mint, lime and Old Mout pineapple and raspberry cider, served in a massive trophy cup.
