The Hide Bar

Description

The Hide bar is close to London Bridge, part of the exciting drinking and dining scene of Bermondsey Street.

Cocktails are the name of the game here, they are expertly crafted with a strong focus on London-sourced ingredients.

The Hide has recently refurbished (Autumn 2017) and while it retains the industrial feel of old, the dark snugs and table service have been replaced with a brighter and more bustling feel, with 12 draught beer lines from local London breweries that are in constant change, and 6 draught cocktail lines.

Spirits are now almost all London-made too, with a clear focus on gin (there are three gin distilleries within a 10 minute walk after all), as well as a fascinating selection of London amari, vermouths, liqueurs and even whisky and rum!

The food menu sources many of its ingredients from the local area so there are some seriously tasty dishes to go with your cocktail. This is a perfect place for laid back drinks, taking a date, celebrating with friends or just enjoying the best of what London has to offer.

The Hide Bar London Bridge - London Bar Review

When the winds pick up and the entire city sits under a threatening grey cloud, a trip south of the river is usually the last thing on my mind. But driven by the promise of ace small plates and charming cocktails, I headed for The Hide Bar with a spring in my step.  The Venue & Ambiance…
