Description
The Wigmore offers delicious gastropub food in a luxurious setting on Regent Street.
While the kitchen is run by Michelin star-winning chef Michel Roux Jr and the venue is attached to five-star hotel The Langham, the venue is less boutique bar and more traditional British tavern merged with gastropub sensibilities. Taking over a former banking hall, the interiors channel a grand art deco aesthetic, boasting large chandeliers, table-top lamps dotted around the bar and high ceilings.
The food menu is British gastropub, with dishes like braised veal and ham pie, devilled lamb’s kidneys and paprika-glazed short rib with bone marrow crumb. As for drinks, they offer a selection of craft beers, cask ales, wines and a number of beer-infused cocktails called 'hoptails'.
