What they say:
The product of a £15 million investment, Biblioteka is the latest venture from Leonid Shutov, the Russian restaurateur that brought us Bob Bob Ricard. Set to be the largest restaurant in London, and housing over 100 different vintages of Château d’Yquem, a generous selection of wines in large format bottles and over 80 vintages of Château Mouton Rothschild by the glass. The venue will also feature a number of private dining rooms, a champagne bar and a menu that showcases English and Russian classics.
What we say:
It's becoming clear that Leonid Shutov has grand plans for London. The opening date is still a long way off, and very much is still uncertain but what is pretty much dead set, is that Biblioteka is gonna be pretty damn swish; Shutov has got the cash, the reputation and quite the pedigree when it comes to opening star-studded haunts in London - why should Biblioteka be any different? Plus, they've got the largest caviar selection in town, and if that don't pull in the big-un's, we don't know what will.
