Rocking Horse

Mark Alexiou and Mark Cutler, who between them have past ventures that include Coco Club in Verbier, Supperclub, Nobu and Cipriani; have teamed up for the first time to create, Rocking Horse. The venue sits under The Westbury Hotel in Mayfair and is a fresh take on the sometimes stuffy members' clubs usually found in this illustrious part of town.

The decor has been designed by Manolo Blahnik, best known for his high end shoes, and will maintain the spirit of the hotel's foundation (it was founded by a prominent polo-playing family). The bar takes full advantage of its connection with the Hotel by offering valet parking, concierge, fantastic five star service and access to a three Michelin star chef in Alyn Williams.

Expect the clientele to consist of an exclusive but cool bunch who like to avoid venues filled with out of control youngsters, reality television stars and the 'older crowd'. As with all member's clubs, potential members have to go through a selection process. The selection committee will include Mark Cutler and Mark Alexiou, but other chairs are held by male supermodel David Gandy, and Kelly Marcel; the person who has been tasked with writing the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.
