1 review - Restaurant Bar
Lisa's on Portobello Road brings a taste of Sweden to the already diverse streets of Notting Hill. Established in mid-2013 as the result of a decade spent travelling across Europe, Lisa's owner and founder (Lisa) felt inspired to bring her memories of home cooked comforts to a new audience, introducing Swedish culture to London's culinarily curious. Opting for a subtle approach to decor, it was hoped that its heritage would be reflected through its simple design; guests are invited into the white washed interior to experience the Scandinavian delights that Lisa has to offer, including a selection of posters originating from the 1922 campaigns both for and against the Swedish prohibition referendum.
Whilst Lisa's main feature is undoubtedly its menu, the bar is nothing to be sniffed at. Offering a wide selection of cocktails and playing host to a number of seasonal events including a Summer Crayfish Party as well as live music every Friday, Lisa's offers a friendly and relaxed space to catch up with friends and get a real taste of Sweden.
