Description
Meet The Hope; Peckham’s latest café-cum-bar found on Melon Road. Kitting this cool new location out with a mix of luxurious fabrics, raw concrete, vintage wallpapers and booth seatings, it’s an eye-catching space with a radiant neighbourhood vibe.
The kitchen won’t be open from the word go, but plans for a permanent kitchen are firmly in place. Guests are able to come and soak in that daytime café atmosphere from 4pm weekdays (12pm at weekends), with a variety of teas, coffees and brunches to help you unwind.
Come a little later and it’s all about a seasonal British menu serving wholesome mains and roast lunches on Sundays. The booze game is really strong too; with real ale lovers able to pick between a rotating list of brews from London’s finest microbreweries, with plenty of lagers, fine wines and spirits to round off a strong line-up.
To whet your appetite while The Hope's permanent kitchen is being installed, they will host a series of street food residencies, bringing together the freshest emerging vendors currently trading on London’s pop-up circuit. Championing top-notch produce and tantalising flavours, you will be able to feast on irresistible buns, braised and barbecued meats and vegetarian treats from the comfort of your local.
