Opened as part of the Point Pleasant development in Putney, Lobster House is a welcome addition to the area. As you probably can guess, their main focus is seafood, serving a range of lobster rolls, New York clam chowder and other undersea delicacies, but they also serve more land based offerings such as steak and beef ribs. The building has also been refurbished to make most of the river views on both levels whilst during the summer they open a private pontoon which will be used as a Champagne bar overlooking the river.
What we say:
Lobster House does exactly what it says on the tin... and more. The latest venue established at the Point Pleasant development is a fantastic idea and with its close proximity to the river, it's also definitely an appropriate one. The Lobster House offers a compelling range of seafood choices - all freshly sourced and acquired from trusted local producers - but if that's not your fancy, you can chow down on a steak or some wagyu beef burgers. All of this can be enjoyed in a modern and beautiful setting that has stunning views of the river.
