Riverside East

Riverside East is a vibrant bar and restaurant situated inside the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. This gorgeous space flaunts bright, colourful interiors, as well as a rooftop terrace that's filled with plants, overlooking the Thames.

There are a number of indoor and outdoor areas to relax in, with a fully-stocked bar offering classic cocktails. The food here is pretty tasty too, ranging from Korean barbecue chicken wings to cacio e pepe pizza and dirty garlic bread.

Madison

Drawing inspiration from the diverse New York dining scene, Madison's menu is a playful fusion of artisan American classics. Ascend to the Penthouse of One New Change and step onto the award-winning rooftop terrace for jaw-dropping views of the London skyline, delish tapas, a lively atmosphere, and killer cocktails. Its sky-high space has been transformed this summer into a stunning oasis, featuring papas grass, olive branches and gypsophila woven together to create photo-worthy cloudscapes. The menu is inspired by the Mediterranean, with light bites such as ceviche and lobster tacos and drinks-wise, you can look forward to plenty of Aperol spritzes.

Out of rooftop bars in Stratford, Union Social is surely a front-runner. Here, there's a gorgeous sunny terrace to enjoy, as well as swish interiors with floor-to-ceiling windows. Topping it off? Late-night DJs, a beaut cocktail list and a range of international plates such as honey-glazed crispy paneer should you get peckish.

Netil360

A rooftop retreat offering seriously stunning panoramic views of the city, Netil360 has all the drinks you could ever want, from fancy cocktails to local brews and even alcoholic lollies. It also offers local drinks like raw draft beer and cider from Trumans, as well as spirits from East London Liquor Company. If you're feeling peckish, head to the sushi rooftop restaurant for delicious small plates of Japanese salads, tataki and sushi rolls.

Rocket, Canary Wharf

A bar and restaurant experience that's out of this world, Rocket flaunts a killer menu paired with jaw-dropping aerial views of the O2 Arena and West India Quay docks. Ideal for bright summer days, their floor-to-ceiling glass windows bring a splash of sunshine into the swish space, with both floors opening up into an outdoor terrace, promising the perfect alfresco experience. Culinary excellence takes centre stage at this Churchill place haunt, featuring smokey bacon burgers, their signature steak and Guinness pie, as well as plenty of delish cocktails.

Dalston Roofpark
