Following on from the success of his Soho Peruvian venture, Ceviche, Martin Morales took to the streets of Shoreditch for his next empanada escapade with Andina.
Styled around a traditional 'picanterias' - a Peruvian family run restaurant serving locals from breakfast through 'til dinner - Andina is a cool community spirited venue where food runs hot and atmosphere runs high. From a main restaurant area that boasts traditional Peruvian cuisine and a 'Games Room' reserved for private dining and cookery classes to a Chicha bar, Andina blends traditional grub with the sound of Peruvian funk and cocktail glasses clinking.
Whilst Peruvian beer and cocktails flow freely from the downstairs Pisco and Chicha bar, it's the restaurant in which Andina cultivates its foodie flair. Serving everything from beef carpaccio to ceviche with pour-your-own tiger's milk, Andina keeps to traditional dishes inspired by the Andes, serving from breakfast to dinner.
