Description
After an incredible sold out debut over NYE, which saw in the new year in style, we’re delighted to announce that Brick Lane Block Party is back this Easter weekend! Four venues, 20+ DJs, faces old and new, all under one affordable ticket
Off the back of multiple events with us throughout 2022, culminating in a b2b battle of the ages on NYE, we welcome back party starters Materials and Rhythm Labs for another Werkhaus takeover, for all things drum and bass, breaks, and garage. Headlining the club is none other than drum and bass royalty DJ Storm, who needs no introduction. Renowned for her timeless mixing and affectionately nicknamed the ‘First Lady of Drum & Bass,’ her set is likely to be one of the best the venue has seen to date. Alongside DJ Storm, we have fast-rising star Ehua, who plays here off the back of killer sets last festival season, notably London’s Waterworks and the Netherlands’ Draaimolen. Ehua will be jumping up for a b2b with Mi-el, whose recent mixes really caught our eye - most notably his XLR8R mix, a meticulous journey through hazy ambient and punchy rollers. Local talent Alicia also jumps on the bill, off the back of sets in some of the city’s most renowned venues such as Corsica Studios and Phonox. We have an additional very special guest joining the lineup, all to be revealed shortly - one of Bristol’s finest selectors, with some beyond standout sets with Keep Hush, his mixing skills aren’t one to be messed with.
For Cafe 1001, we’ve invited our favourite residents Loose Legs down, for a disco, house, soul and Italo led evening. Loose Legs are one of our most loved crews, their monthly residency with us always brings the most amazing music, and for this occasion their residents will be joined by none other than Maurice Fulton. Known for his hard hitting rhythmic DJing style, and his links to Boof and Cyclops, this will be a very special set. Sleazy Pizza, Brick Lane’s naughtiest pizza joint, will be slinging out free pizza all night, with the intimate restaurant being transformed into the Sleazy Disco once again, with new favourites Taleggio Nights stepping up to host. And it wouldn’t be a proper party without another one of our favourite crews, so we’re hyped to welcome Voices Radio to take over Brick Lane Tap Room. Regular party starters in our venues, the Voices crew have every style of music covered - from disco to house, funk to breaks, and soul to UKG, their seamless sets and perfectly curated lineups always bring the best of the best in London’s rising DJ scene.
Tickets for this start at just £13. This one sold out well in advance last time, so don’t sleep on tickets. Saturday 8th April, 6pm-4am. See you in the dance!
