Description
Hoi Polloi might be a swanky old English term for a commoner, but Shoreditch's newest bar and bistro is far from your average eatery. Located in the ultra-cool new Ace Hotel, Hoi Polloi is a professional hangout by day, a hive of lively dining by dusk, and one cool place to kick back after dark. Set up by the folks behind stylish warehouse restaurant Bistrotheque up the road in Bethnal Green, the new Shoreditch bar and restaurant has been known to draw in upmarket hipsters and creative professionals, looking for a little refinement with a dash of trendy.
Hoi Polloi falls in with the overall vibe of the creatively driven Ace Hotel within which it resides, having placed a major emphasis on contemporary style, modern art and urban tones. Promising modernist English cuisine, with everything from breakfast and elevenses to supper and nightcaps, this new bar in Shoreditch has already established itself as a dapper addition to London's hub of hip.
