With power points and WiFi provided, the London hotel bar and restaurant has very much the same feel as Ace's New York hotel, full of locals working on laptops - the modern hoi polloi of Shoreditch follows suit. The chefs behind much-loved Bethnal Green restaurant, Bistrotheque, are responsible for the kitchen at Hoi Polloi, offering a modernist take on hyper-seasonal English produce and flavours.
