Loungelover bar in Shoreditch is an extraordinary setting where baroque meets kitsch in an elegant way serving equally as amazing cocktails. The bar consists of themed areas called the Baroque, the Cage, and the Gold Room all decked out in opulence reminding you more of a fantastical film set than a bar. Despite the quirky features like 12ft tall Ming vases and a hippo's head on the wall the cocktails still catch your attention with delicious artisan crafted cocktails like the Punk Passion (Snow Queen Vodka shaken with fresh red currants, passion fruit, lemon juice and sugar, topped up with fizz).
Loungelover has received many awards for its bar and design and therefore is perfect for impressing a date or trying something different in London. Their sumptuous drinks menu aside, they also serve delicious Japanese food including appetizers, mains, Sushi and dessert. They do ravishing canapés including sushi and other Japanese delicacies. They recommend the three course set menu served on weekends noon- 3pm with choices of scallops, Beef Carpaccio, spicy tuna rolls, Teriyaki chicken, spicy sesame beef, Yaki udon noodles, gingerbread and fig panacotta, chocolate and liquorice sponge etc.
Loungelover with its lush interior design and East London clientele has come a long way since it was a defunct meat packing factory in 2003.
