80's teen pop sensation Rick Astley has set up shop in Shoreditch and he's got one of the world's best beer crafters in tow. Shipping in from Copenhagan, Mikkeller Bar is the first UK venue from acclaimed Danish brewers Mikkeller. Having already worked with the singer on Astley's Northern Hop Lager, Mikkeller founder, Mikkel Borg Bjergsø, jumped at the chance for further collaboration. Taking over a spot on Hackney Road, the venue fuses Scandi-aesthetic with British pub friendliness and a look inspired by one of Astley's music videos.
