After major success as a pop up wine bar, Sager & Wilde have opened permanently on Hackney Road. The new location was previously The British Lion Pub, and has undergone a huge refurbishment. The bar offers an exciting selection of wines at a fraction of the price that restaurants offer, all by the glass. The daily changing list keeps things interesting and fresh and make you want to come back for more! The simple food menu, including the already popular Sager & Wilde grilled cheese, goes along perfectly with the wines and is all sourced locally or made by the in-house chef.

The Sager & Wilde pop up bar in 2012 was a massive hit, sparking their permanent move. The venue is interesting and cool since it is in a refurbished, historical pub and who doesn't love affordable drinks! The daily changing wine list satisfies wine enthusiasts and those just looking for a good drink. We've even heard rumours they're planning on changing opening times at the weekends to all day, so you'll even be able to get a mean brunch there soon!
