This December we take a journey through the history of acid house with a live show and clubnight celebrating the genre's most iconic sounds.
The night begins with a live performance from the incredible Acid House Orchestra followed by an extended DJ set from Hacienda original, A Guy Called Gerald - the man behind the seminal anthem 'Voodoo Ray'.
A 9-piece ensemble comprising live electronics, brass, percussion and more, The Acid House Orchestra will perform unique renditions of the most defining tracks from the sound's birth in Chicago clubs to its arrival in the UK raves. Expect a live journey through the early sounds of 808 state, A Guy Called Gerald, and LFO right through to the later sounds of The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers.
Get ready 9 hours filled with acid & hedonistic sounds providing non-stop dancing & feel good vibes until sunrise.
