What they say:
68 and Boston is a sleek wine and cocktail lounge located on Greek Street, Shoreditch. Dedicated to showcasing the finest wines and grape-concoctions produced by the world's best vineyards, the team behind this venture have spadefuls of experience and have turned this dwindling spot into a bustling, metropolitan hangout. There are precisely 67 main wine producing nations around the world, and this will be the 68th place where guests can widen their horizons in trying a range of left-field (but beautiful) wines. Better still, all the bottles are priced at exactly £20 each. Completing the experience, the venue's wonderful cocktail bar kicks into life come nightfall, serving an intriguing selection of hand-crafted cocktails, made using a variety of international spirits, spice and fruits. Laid back and tranquil, you can also enjoy a bespoke bar food offering here, provided by a neighbouring restaurant.
What we say:
New to the scene in Autumn 2015, 68 and Boston draws experience from a crack team of seasoned professionals and nightlife experts to bring a wholly suave Soho offering. The venue is the brainchild of Eric Yu, Luca Cordiglieri and Martin Malley; with years of experience both in London's opulent bar scene and the wine industry, these three mavericks will have picked up a thing or two while in charge of popular hangouts like China Tang and The Breakfast Group. With that in mind, it's easy to picture 68 and Boston becoming a favourite lounge bar for Soho's enthusiastic revellers.
