Ana Lorenza Nunez's is bringing her bold Pop Art vision to London with her first UK solo exhibition. A self-taught Guatemalan artist, learning and creating are her passions. Her work is a journey through contact with different experiences, conflicts, parallels, and relationships that are part of every human being, especially women. 

She constructs figurative and conceptual images through photographs, drawings, objects, and collages—isolated pieces that when combined, form a whole, capturing the essence of what she seeks to express. 

Ana has gained international recognition for her provocative and masterful mixed media pieces. A recipient of the highest medal at the international Contemporary Art Biennale in Buenos Aires 2022.

With LIFE IN A BOTTLE – Soda Pop 2.5, presents a playful yet critical lens on the pervasive influence of advertising, mass media, and pop culture, using the universally recognisable imagery of soda bottles as her central motif. Drawing direct inspiration from one of the world’s most famous soda brands, Nuñez reimagines these iconic visuals with bold, unexpected twists, merging them with references to legendary rock bands, cult classic films, and vintage sports magazines. This series cheekily nods to the golden age of advertising, intertwining elements of nostalgia and irony in a striking visual language.

“The works in Soda Pop 25 challenge our perceptions of branding and consumerism while celebrating the absurdity of mass marketing,” 

 Ana masterfully blends colour, texture, and symbolism, inviting viewers to reconsider the familiar and reflect on the role of visual storytelling in modern society.
