Lucky Voice Soho

Private Karaoke is hugely popular in London so I decided to give Lucky Voice Soho a go. As you walk up Poland Street, there is a small Lucky Voice sign outside Yo Sushi as a marker to descend the metal staircase into this private karaoke parlour! 

There were six of us and we booked a booth for one hour. We were taken to our private karaoke room: They aren't the most luxurious and not huge but you can adjust the lighting, adjust the sound levels and order a drink by the press of a button! So press that button we did...in comes a friendly waitress and took our order of shots and cocktails! The drinks arrived very quickly and went down a treat (much needed dutch courage!). 

The music selection computer is simple and has everything you need from Britney to Kings of Leon. We also found some plastic instruments and a few real tambourines. After the first round of drinks everyone was up, dancing and singing the night away! We kept pressing that drink button and ended up having another hour of fun in the booth! 

It really was a fantastic night! Everyone had a sing song and it was like being in our own private club! The main bar in Lucky Voice Soho is also pretty cool so you can stay for a few more bevvies after your moment in the spotlight - a good London bar to know whether you are there to sing or not.

Be aware...the drinks are quite expensive and it's very easy to press the button and lose track on how much you have spent! If you fancy doing something a bit different and having great fun I would highly recommend a few hours at Lucky Voice.
