What they say:
KU Group's hugely popular Candy Bar might have closed down, but the seriously stylish venue She on Old Compton Street is everything you might hope for and more when searching for an alternative. Designed exclusively with the lesbian-community in mind, She is out to establish an intimate and elegant vibe for its guests to enjoy whilst mingling with a fun-loving crowd. They do this by offering great drinks, a centrepiece dance floor and regularly throwing their doors open for live music and comedy nights.
What we say:
She becomes the only haunt in London created specifically for lesbians, and it has got a great sense of responsibility on its shoulders accordingly. No fear though, because it effortlessly creates a welcoming and fun-loving vibe for its guests to enjoy. There's ample comfy seating for guests to sit and chill at, as well as a lively dancefloor to cut some on shapes should the DJ drop their favourite tune. With regular events including live music and comedy nights thrown in to the mix, there's no danger of this venue becoming stale either, and it's hard to look past this chic hangout as anything less than a great new addition to the Soho gay scene.
