Description
Opening in Chinatown comes this secretive Vietnamese bar from two prominent players on the London dining scene. Viet Lounge is located above Viet Food, the restaurant run by former Hakkasan chef Jeff Tan, and will have a swish drinks menu devised by Alex Looi, whose CV includes The Dorchester and Park Chinois.
Primarily a cocktail bar, Viet Lounge has an Asian-inspired menu with drinks such as Voodoo (vodka, cognac, pear liqueur, pepper syrup, raspberry, blackberry, lychee juice and lemon grass) and Black Magic (vodka, coffee liqueur, homemade coconut milk, and pistachio syrup). Feeling peckish? Food comes from downstairs Viet Lounge with a choice of small plates such as sweetcorn crab balls, and Hanoi beef.
