Purl @ Rubi is where coffee and cocktail aficionados come together under one roof. Located within a five minute stroll of Surbiton station, this chic new hangout comes to us courtesy of the guys behind Purl, the renowned speakeasy cocktail bar in Marylebone.

The café opens at 8am every day, selling a delicious array of Italian coffees, breakfasts, lunches and baked goods through until 4pm. Pull up a chair inside or head out to their quaint courtyard to enjoy a tasty treat. You can decide between a range of paninis, cakes, muffins and scones as well as plenty of options for those with gluten-intolerance too. Drop in a little later on to find a lively cocktail bar firmly in its groove; funky house tunes provide the soundtrack and revellers enjoy all kinds of sumptuous cocktails with a twist.

The fun and games don't stop there though! Drop downstairs and you’ll find Purl, an irresistably cosy speakeasy bar serving luscious libations against the backdrop of swing and jazz tunes. Yes please. Cocktail masterclasses are available, and guests are welcome to take away from the café for a snack later in the day.
