'The branches of the Astral Corridor weave through time and space, echoing fractured realities once thought forgotten. The archivists of the Black Archives work tirelessly to catalogue these tales, reaching into the furthest depths of the corridor to glimpse what can never be.’
Black Archives is a TTRPG story spotlight event, as our house GMs weave tales from across the multiverse. These original stories are self-contained and setting-agnostic, intended for both experienced and newer players. We'll be featuring a variety of indie TTRPG systems alongside our regular D&D5E offerings!
Each session will feature it's own unique system and requirements, so be sure to read the full event description before ordering.

THE STORY: “Welcome
to Doctor Crippen’s Timeshare Holiday Camp, where adventurers come
for a bit of rest and relaxation. Treat yourself to a poolside
cocktail, a walk through the botanical gardens, or even spend an
afternoon unwinding in our homeopathic spa!
“Sun! Sea! Strychnine!”
You’re adventurers having some time off at your holiday villa at a
holiday camp by the coast. It seems idyllic, an oasis of calm. But
what monstrous darkness lurks beneath the shiny veneer of your
vacation? Find out in… Doctor Crippen’s Timeshare Holiday
Camp!
PRE-GENS PROVIDED?: Players
will need a level 6 character and be confident in playing at that
level.
CONTENT WARNINGS: Drowning, sharks, gore, corpses, mind
control, graphic imagery.
WELCOME TO LAKE GARUDA (HOUSE GM:
PHIL)
SYSTEM: Kids On Bikes
THE STORY: Most residents of Lake Garuda are unaware of
the strangeness that exists just beneath the surface and
between the cracks of their quaint lakeside town. But the kids of
Lake Garuda know better. Hop on your bike, meet up with your
friends and explore the strange little corners in the town you call
home. Create and investigate rumors in your own 1980's supernatural
adventure with the Kids On Bikes system.
PRE-GENS PROVIDED?: Character sheets and 'troupes' will be provided to kickstart character creation during the game.

Refunds Cancellations: If you can no longer attend a session and would like to refund a ticket, please contact us directly via Universe to request a cancellation. Please note that we do not offer refunds for cancellations within 24 hrs of an event. This is because this does not provide us enough time to resell tickets, and can lead to tables being rescheduled or closed due to low attendance.
Code of Conduct: We expect all players to read and abide by our Code of Conduct at all times. This can be found here: https://arcaniststavern.uk/safety. Any breach of our code of conduct will lead to a cautioning or permanent ban from the venue.
Lateness: For all TTRPG GM Hire events, we suggest arriving half an hour before the ticketed start time. If you arrive more than half an hour later than the ticketed start time, you will not be able to attend the session and may not be refunded. Most of our ticketed events begin at 7PM promptly.
Outside Food: Please note that we are an independent business, and do not allow outside food or drink to be consumed on the premises.
Animals: Please note that we do not allow animals to attend any of our ticketed events, partnered or otherwise. This is due to sensory, allergy and trigger issues.

Mark’s “Keepers of the Tavern” was so much fun to play! He is a great DM and also the Tavern event as a whole was a lot of fun!
