The Battersea Barge is a unique, newly refurbished riverside bar with lots of light, glass, steel and huge amounts of personality. Customers can either book tables in advance or simply walk aboard for drinks by the river.
The kitchen has now re-opened for business, serving freshly boat-mad hand-stretched pizzas. Battersea Barge also currently has delicious draught beer and a selection of spirits, with a whole roster of wines on the drinks list.
The Barge has 3 levels, with large upper deck, spacious mid deck that includes our outside terrace and private east deck, and lower deck with stage and great sound and lighting. This means that it also hosts events, live music, cabaret, theatre and weddings and can be hired privately.
Located amongst a community of houseboats and alongside the new developments of Nine Elms, the Barge makes for a contrasting oasis of calm away from the crowds and traffic.
With views of Battersea Power Station and the City, the Barge is a great space to spend some time floating (sometimes) on the river.

The lower deck includes exclusive use of the stage area and audience space and is the perfect space for events, live music, cabaret, theatre, parties and weddings. If you intend to host a performance, there is a dressing room available. The lower deck can seat 70 guests, and more at a squeeze. The whole boat’s capacity is 150. The space is available to hire from 10am up to midnight (11pm on Sunday- Thursdays). |

The Battersea Barge is a unique newly refurbished venue space in the heart of Nine Elms. We offer whole or partial boat hire for all sizes and occasions including weddings, live music & corporate events. A unique space offering 2 spacious Indoor & outdoor decks with lots of windows set amongst beautiful landscape away from the main road. We can comfortably accommodate 150 guests. Hire fees are from £285 for weekends for an indoor or outdoor deck (we also require 70+ guests for certain decks) and £185 for daytimes / Sunday- Wednesdays or a pre-paid budget. We can offer either an indoor deck, indoor & outdoor deck or whole boat hire. Please get back to us with your (pre-paid) budget, numbers and requirements and we will be in touch. Please note we require a minimum of 50 guests or a prepaid budget to host an event. |

Our partially covered east deck can be hired for 25+ guests, with more possible, as you can spread out to the rest of the boat. It has great views of the river and provides a private space for special parties. Tables and chairs can be moved to make extra space if needed. |

The uncovered terrace is available for 40+ Guests for a £250 hire or pre-paid minimum spend. It makes for very relaxed terrace vibes and is a highly versatile space, with tables and chairs moves to create extra standing room. The other big plus for this space is that it combines indoor and outdoor and allows for all weathers. |
