Ireland is quickly gaining a brilliant reputation for its gins! For one day only, we are showcasing a premium gin from every province in Ireland and pairing them tonic waters from Poacher's Premium Irish Mixers.

Your ticket gets you a sample of all the featured gins & tonics plus a free Irish Gin & Tonic of your choice at the bar. With guest DJs spinning the best of modern Irish music along with a few party bangers, and a great selection of food available, the craic will be epic!

Once inside, you can avail of our personalised G&T Clinic, where our experts will guide you to your own ideal combo of Gin, Tonic & Garnish!

We have gins from the four corners of Ireland:

Representing Leinster, we've got Silver Spear Gin. This county Carlow gin is distilled with 13 different botanicals in the ancestral home of Captain John Henry Watson. In 1876 he was awarded a silver spear for his gallantry by the Kanpur Tent Club in India. It hangs in the distillery and their gin is indeed named after it!

From the county of Leitrim and the province of Connacht comes the hugely popular Gunpowder Irish Gin. It magically encapsulates botanicals from around the world including wild Irish meadowsweet hand foraged from right outside the distillery. https://drumshanbogunpowderirishgin.com

Dingle Gin will be flying the flag for Munster! It is a citrus-forward spirit that is already a huge hit in many of London's Irish bars. It is a product of the Dingle Whiskey Distillery in County Kerry and features local heather as one of its botanicals. http://www.dingledistillery.ie

Straight outta county Donegal and the province of Ulster, say hello to Muff Gin. Named after its hometown, this is one of Ireland's first potato gins which gives it a unique earthiness to balance out its light spice and fruitiness. http://www.themuffliquorcompany.com/muff-holding/

Watch this space for more delicious Irish Gins as they are confirmed...

All of the tonics will come from Poacher's Premium Irish Mixers. They're based in Wexford and they produced Ireland's only all natural, low sugar mixers that all feature Irish ingredients. Two of their tonics feature herbs from the Garden of Eden Farm in County Meath and their Wild tonic water is made with wild Irish elderflower from the Brook Lodge Hotel estate in County Wicklow.

If your friends prefer other drinks (why would they?) there is also a full bar serving craft beers, spirits, and cocktails!

The Irish Gin & Tonic Takeover is the second collaboration between Dublin based Great Irish Beverages and London based A Drop of Irish.
In July of 2017, they produced the sell-out, "Irish gin & Tonic Fest Closing Party". This featured four Irish gins for a public event at the 40 Foot Brewery in Dalston. It sold over 400 tickets and thousands of all Irish gin & Tonics were served at it!

Where can we get tickets and how much are they?
Tickets are only £15 each and strictly limited, so make sure to beat the rush.

Jack's Bar

Jack's is one of the best things to have hit the streets of Southwark in recent years. Occupying a converted railway arch, owners Ryan and John McElhinney have transformed the space into a trendy new venue, furnished with bespoke items and vintage pieces: antique and modern furnishings sit upon darkwalnut…
