The Admiralty

Description

A traditional pub with a story to tell, The Admiralty is a step back in time to the decks of HMS Victory and the Battle of Trafalgar. Looking out to Nelson’s Column, it’s officially London’s most central pub, where the best of British pub food awaits alongside Fuller’s cask ales.

Make your way up to the upper deck to kick back with a crisp pint, marvel at the fantastic views of Trafalgar Square on the ground floor or drop downstairs to discover their stunning vaulted gun deck at The Admiralty. A rich choice of Fuller's ales, craft lagers and wines spoil us for choice, and a range of hand-crafted pies as well as other traditional British plates are waiting in the wings if you should fancy a bite to eat.

It's a good spot for catching up with mates over a drink, and naturally the venue's location makes it a winner for those looking to refuel with a pie and pint after a day of sight-seeing.

This venue serves Pub Food, British and Christmas Lunch/Dinner food.

  • A word from the chef:

Serving up an authentic taste of the capital, The Admiralty specialises in delicious hand-crafted pies – with our fresh, signature shortcrust pastry filled to the brim with a range of delicious combinations. Our perfect pies are served up alongside tasty mash and gravy, and of course, they’re best enjoyed with a pint of Fuller’s ale. But if you can’t decide which pie (and indeed which pint) to indulge in, don’t worry. We offer a brilliant tasting board, featuring three marvellous mini-pies and three matched samples of ale. We’ve other traditional favourites on our food menu too – including beer-battered fish & chips, hearty sausage and mash, and a delicious Hampshire-sourced steak burger. Daily specials are also available, so there’s always something new to try at every visit.
